Advancing equitable partnerships through Due Diligence Passporting
As a signatory of Charter for Change and a member of its Due Diligence Passporting Steering Committee, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe is happy to share with you the invitation to the Humanitarian Talk within the framework of the 4th European Humanitarian Forum in Brussels.
This Humanitarian Talk will bring together local and national actors, alongside donors and INGOs, to explore the potential of due diligence passporting within the EU’s integrated approach. It will draw on learning from existing initiatives, including the Charter4Change initiative supported by Irish Aid and the LOCAL project in West Africa supported by the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO). The session will examine how passporting can promote equitable partnerships and reduce compliance burdens, while addressing risks and tensions linked to scaling up and harmonisation.
The Forum sessions will be live-streamed, and no registration is required. The link will be available on this website on the day of the event: Home | European Humanitarian Forum 2025.
Panellists:
- Aminata Diallo/Boly – Association Andal & Pinal, SPONG, Burkina Faso
- Ahmed Ibrahim – Asal Humanitarian Network, Kenya
- Sheetal Rana – Trócaire
- Romain Sztark – Danish Refugee Council
- Mark Montgomery, Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
The discussion will be moderated by Elise Baudot from ICVA.
Join the talk on Monday, 19 May, 16:45–18:00.
