Four women on their way in Chikar, a small village in Pakistani Kashmir. Till October 2005 the region was sealed off due to the ongoing conflict between Pakistan and India. Chikar is only 20 kilometres away from the Indian border. Life seems to be normal here and also the women seem to be moving untroubled. Fate brought them together - a horrible disaster. It has taken one year to bring back a glimpse of what could be called daily routine.
A film from Ingo Herbst and Dominique Mann (Duration: 20:32 minutes).
